Wapping apartments are located close to Albert Dock on Wapping and overlooking Wapping Dock which opened for trade in 1852. The building itself was constructed in 1856 by Jesse Hartley (of Albert dock fame) and was built of a similar style to its more illustrious neighbour. The development is comprised of four sperate elements known as North, East, South and West Quay. The building was converted into residential apartments by Barratt in 1988. It retains its Grade II listing.
The development consists of a range of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and retains most of its original features, both internally and externally. Many of the apartments benefit from glorious views across the dock or towards the city and the Anglican Cathedral. The development is extremely popular with owner occupiers. The location of the apartments is very convenient with residents being a short walk from Albert Dock, Liverpool One and Baltic Triangle.
