The Albany Liverpool is one of the city’s most well-known buildings and is located in the heart of the business district on Old Hall Street. Constructed in the 1856, this Grade II listed building is one of Liverpool’s most highly regarded works of architecture and one of the most popular places to live.
The Albany Building was originally a meeting place for cotton brokers, and contained offices and meeting rooms, together with warehousing facilities in the basement. It is one of the earliest examples of Victorian offices in Liverpool.
The building was renovated and converted into apartments (including an additional new build penthouse level) in 2004-2006. It now includes a total of 137 properties, predominately one and two bedrooms. Although extensively renovated all of the buildings impressive features have been retained including a stunning central courtyard.
The building has a concierge service and features a bespoke car parking stacker system designed and installed by Wöhr Parking (a German company),maximising a tight space to accommodate 84 cars.
