New vision for Liverpool Waters

Peel Waters has submitted a revised Liverpool Waters masterplan for the Central Docks area located between the new Everton stadium and Princes Dock. The original £5bn masterplan, covering over 150 acres, envisaged a 30-year timescale delivering a range of uses including office, retail, residential and leisure together with a range of public realm including Central Park.
The revised master plan includes a substantial decrease in the total space dedicated for offices, retail and leisure but more public space/realm whilst retaining a decent number of residential homes.
Yesterday the scheme was announced bieng a beneficiary of a £55m funding boost from Homes England to help with the anticipated delivery of 2,350 new homes
