“Kings” the rebrand for King Edward

New York has Queens and now Liverpool has Kings after the announcement on 3rd March 2026 that the proposed £1bn King Edward Triangle scheme has been given a new brand name. The development bieng brought forward by Davos Property Developments, in conjunction with Beetham Davos, have unveiled the new branding off the back of the recently approved Waterloo Road tower a 65m development that features 255 apartments. This first tower, as part of the broader masterplan, will be names No 1 Kings.

The overall masterplan will see five more buildings constructed, including one rising to 60-storeys that will be Liverpool’s tallest building. Overall 2,750 homes are planned on the eight-acre site, as well as a five-star hotel and grade A offices. The team are heading to MIPIM this month to promote the scheme to a worldwide property audience.

“Liverpool is a global brand and deserves a skyline to match,” said Hugh Frost of Beetham Davos on the Kings rebrand. “We’re crafting a whole new neighbourhood and wanted a brand name and personality that illustrates Liverpool’s confidence.”

“Kings is a place that feels completely Liverpool, yet completely new. We’ve always been a city of reinvention – our spirit goes through the generations and remains a major ‘pull factor’ for investors and visitors, whether they are here for a day or a lifetime.”

Beetham Davos will unveil the masterplan for Kings in the second quarter of the year before submitting a hybrid application for the scheme.
