Following on from the Liverpool Developer conference in mid February new images of a proposed landmark development at King Edward have been released. The stunning image shows both the extent and height of the proposals, including the first 50 storey tower in the city. The image has been produced by Infinite 3D in conjunction with the scheme’s architects Brock Carmichael
The team behind the development TJ Morris (KEIE) and Beethem (Hugh Frost) are confident that the proposals are achievable and that discussions with the city council were said to have been “highly constructive”. As indicated previously the team behind the project are aiming to submit what they term as a ‘pathfinder’ planning application for a tower of 26 storeys located on the north west corner of the site close to Costco.
Whilst some commentators have questioned the viability of the project there is a growing belief in the city that the development is exactly what we need, providing a extensive range of residential apartments for sale and to let. The ongoing strong performance of Liverpool’s residential market, and particularly the rental market, will hopefully create the confidence for investors looking at the city as a place to invest.
